From February 1st to 5th the city will host XANTAR, International Gastronomy and Tourism Exhibition: special menus, showcookings, tastings and many other activities to discover the best of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American cuisine and, of course, all the local #SaboresdeOurense
A perfect plan for discovering Ourense, combining a thermal bath with a complete gastronomic experience. The 18th XANTAR, International Gastronomy and Tourism Exhibition, will be held this year from February 1st to 15th. The facilities of Expourense will be transformed to host about twenty restaurants where you will enjoy their special menus at affordable prices.
Panama will be the guest country this year. The fair that will also have the presence of restaurateurs from Costa Rica, Colombia and many provinces of Spain and Portugal. Ourense’s local gastronomy will also have a prominent place, with a menu based on snacks made by some of the winning restaurants of the last editions of the Sabores de Ourense Tapas Competition.
The menu of XANTAR this year will also include tastings of the most varied products (wine, cheese, honey, chocolate), showcases and showcookings, children’s workshops committed to a healthy diet and, of course, the 4th Meeting of Gastronomic Bloggers, who again will come to Ourense to document the latest culinary trends that are presented in the Fair.
