Visits to the Cathedral’s Bell Tower

On March 14th the Cathedral will organize visits to discover its bell tower, which will soon be included into the temple's tourist tours.

St. Martin’s Cathedral will begin to open its belfry for group visits: an added attraction to the cultural tour that is already done on a regular basis. To advertise this unique corner, next Thursday 14th 1-hour special visits will be offered to the residents of Ourense. In them, attendees will learn the secrets of the capital’s temple and climb the bell tower, from where they will be able to see beautiful views of the city.

This activity, aimed at the local population and which emphasizes the knowledge of Ourense’s artistic heritage, will have a special price of € 2. The interested people can register at the cathedral, by phone (+34 608 505 531) or by email at courense@artisplendore.com by providing full name, telephone number and ID card.

4 visits will be established, which will be organized in groups of 15 people: at 11.00, 12.00, 13.00 and 17.00 hours.

The Ourense City Council is a partner in this activity: the groups of visitors will be led on the tour by municipal guides.
