Galicia returns and Ourense also returns, delighted to welcome you again this summer. Here you will find interesting information related to the post-COVID-19 scenario and the prevention measures adopted.

Warning to Visitors

According to the Galician regional government’s action protocol, visitors (whether or not they are residents of this community) who come from or have travelled in the last 14 days to territories with high epidemiological incidence of COVID-19 must provide their contact information to the Galician health authorities within a maximum period of 24 hours from their arrival. This form must be completed regardless of whether or not the person has symptoms compatible with COVID-19.

Information can be given through the form available on the website or via phone at +34 881 00 20 21. Territories considered of high epidemiological incidence can be consulted here and are updated biweekly.

The obligation to provide this information is contained in the Executive Order of July 27th, 2020 of the Galician Department of Health (DOG No. 150).

Thermal Areas

Outariz Spa is operating with a reduced capacity of 30% and strictly following a safety and hygiene protocol. It maintains its usual rate (€ 5.70) and is open with the following schedule:

  • Monday, Wednesday and Thursday: from 10 a.m. to midnight.
  • Friday from 10 a.m. to 02 a.m. Saturdays from 09 a.m. to 02 a.m. Sunday from 09 a.m. to midnight. Tuesday closed.

The rest of the thermal areas of the city are, for now, out of service. More information will be provided as there are changes.

Tourist Resources

Most of the tourist resources of the city, including the Cathedral and exhibition spaces, are operating and receiving visits, although there are capacity restrictions and each space has its own safety and hygiene protocol. You should ask for information in advance via e-mail or telephone before planning your visit.
