Thermal Yoga at As Burgas

Discover a wellness experience that combines the benefits of yoga with the properties of Ourense's thermal waters.

When and where?

From 11.00 to 12.30 h at As Burgas thermal pool the next Saturdays:

    • February 16th – March 2nd – March 16th – April 6th – April 20th – May 4th – May 18th – June 1st

What is it?

These are an hour and a half group sessions in which the Wellness® Method is developed. This is a practice that combines yoga and hydrotherapy: by implementing physical exercises, you’ll relax and stretch the muscles to eliminate tension, provide flexibility and make the whole body feel better instantly, thanks also to the benefits provided by the thermal waters in joints, bones, muscles and skin. In addition, breathing practices are performed that increase lung capacity by improving oxygenation.

In the last part, concentration and relaxation techniques are developed to calm mental activity, combat stress, balance the nervous system and create a space of inner peace. Gongs and Tibetan bowls also bring the benefits of music therapy, contributing to improve our well-being.

Admission to these sessions is free, but space is limited.

Who is it for?

This activity is open to all those people who can use the hot springs, after medical consultation. Minors must be accompanied by an adult and be over 7 years old.

What do I need?

You need the usual stuff for a bathing session at Ourense’s thermal spaces: a swimsuit, a towel, flip flops and a desire to relax.

We remind you that the use of the thermal baths is always under your responsibility and that it is advisable that you consult with your doctor beforehand.

We also recommend you to be punctual, since it is an activity with limited capacity.
